Departure Time from Bambú 9:00 a.m.
9:00 a.m. Our local guide will wait for you in Bambú, next to the Maruja grocery store. Before beginning to sail, we will point out to you the measures of security that should be kept during the journey. After you wear correctly your life jacket, we will initiate this adventure by the Yorkín River.
During the journey, the guide will describe details about the Yorkín River and the nature that flanks it; remember that this is a very important river, because not only serves as a natural limit between Costa Rica and Panama, but also because by being navigable, facilitates the daily activities of transportation of people, merchandise and food. During the dry season, some sections should be carried out descending from the boat and pushing it, so do not be frightened, is part of the adventure!!!
10:30 a.m. Arrival at the Pier in Yorkín, follow by a 15 minutes walk in company of your guide, crossing the local community toward the lodge.
11:00 a.m. Arrival at our Paradise the Yorkin Eco Center of Cultural and Biological Studies. Welcome you with a refreshing tropical juice and delicious appetizers.
11:30 a.m. Sinadila Path: Located at approximately 15 minutes of the Eco Center, the resource counts with a distance of 450 meters, it crosses through areas of pre and secondary forest basal mountains, also count with a small waterfall and a sector in which the visitors can enjoy a bath in the refreshing water of the Sinadila stream that flows into in the Yorquín river. Time of traveled through: 1 hour 30 minutes, Degree of difficulty: Medium
1:00 p.m. Return to the Lodge to enjoy the lunch that have we prepared especially so that you be acquainted with the flavor of our kitchen and savor the products of the garden and the different plantations that we have.
2:00 p. m. Journey through the botanical garden in which the visitors will appreciate the native species of plants of the zone and what is important of the medicinal plants for the aboriginal inhabitants.
3:00 p.m. Presentation of the process of the cocoa into chocolate; our traditional beverage utilized by our ancestors to drink in ceremonies, births and healings.
After this, we invite you to appreciate the crafts that concoct and if you wish you may take them as souvenirs, with the materials that are typical of the area.
3:30 p.m. Exit in boat accompanied by your guide, toward Bambú.
4:30 p.m. Arrive at Bamboo and farewell.
